摘要:Hydro-Québec has published a strategic plan to promote three key objectives: Energy efficiency, Renewable energies, and Technological innovation. As a result, the utility set a forward thinking innovation program which identifies key transformational technologies to enable a smarter transmission grid by 2030.

In the first part of the talk, this innovation program will be briefly overviewed. In the second part, we will discuss recent R&D projects in Automation and Control while stressing the role our Real-Time Power Network Simulator Lab in the concept-proving of these new concepts.
