On the morning of May 18, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (EEA) held an online meeting of teachers with senior professional titles in the form of a Tencent meeting to re-elect the academic committeemen whose terms had expired. The participants included 32 teachers from the teaching and research series, research series, teaching series and unclassified series.
The meeting, divided into two sessions, was presided over by Professor Yu Xinjie, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of EEA.
Agenda of the first session: (1) Summarize the work of the current academic committee; read out the relevant content of the “Regulations on Academic Committees of Tsinghua University”; notify the election rules; introduce the candidates; (2) Anonymous election of new members. Agenda of the second session: the first meeting of the newly elected members of the academic committee.
Voted by representatives of senior teachers, 15 new members of the Academic Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics (sequenced by the number of strokes of their surnames) were elected: Yu Xinjie, Lu Qiang, Min Yong, Xiao Xi, He Jinliang, Li Yongdong, Lu Chao, Zhao Zhengming , Guo Qinglai, Yuan Jiansheng, Kang Chongqing, Liang Xidong, Mei Shengwei, Han Yingduo, Dong Xinzhou.
After discussion and voting at the first meeting of the new academic committee of EEA, the chairman of the academic committee He Jinliang, the deputy chairman Yu Xinjie, and the secretary Lu Chao were elected.
After the meeting, the Party and Government Joint Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering spoke highly of the work of the current academic committee in the form of a letter of thanks, and wished the new academic committee to make greater contribution to the development of the Department of Electrical Engineering.
